    ETERNITY: A CALL TO THE "GREAT COMMISSION"

    Eternity is a powerful evangelistic production that emphasizes the truth about Heaven and Hell and the unconditional love of Christ. It shows through flashback sequences how the choices we make here on earth determine our ultimate destinies. People are able to see themselves on the stage and relate to what the characters are feeling. They can relate to what the character’s struggles are and see that there is a way out. Because people’s hearts are so open to receive the Gospel, there has never been a better time to reach your community.

    Eternity is a ministry that has seen thousands come to know the knowledge and saving power of Jesus Christ. They have responded to the Gospel message and out of repentance, a spirit of brokenness, and the true conviction on sin. There has been testimony after testimony after testimony of marriages restored, people healed, and lives rededicated to the purpose and call of Jesus Christ. Cities, communities, and churches are left with an awesome passion for the extension of God's Kingdom, knowing that God has done something eternal in their midst.

    Eternity is a local church ministry based out of City Bible Church NY-NJ and our goal is to support the local church in reviving their city for Christ.
  • THE VISION
    "Eternity" is an intense dramatic presentation of the Gospel that shows the reality of life after death... Heaven or Hell.
    The primary purpose of "Eternity" is evangelism. "Eternity" was designed to inspire and motivate the local church congregation to use their talents and giftings to reach out in love to their community. It is a net to gather people towards the church. Many people will come to a dramatic presentation, when given a free ticket, when they would not come to a church service.

    People's hearts are opened as they become involved in the production on the platform, allowing the Holy Spirit to do His gentle work of grace. The church congregation also sees how easy practical evangelism really is. The fire is lit!
  • HISTORY

    City Bible Church determined to better impact their community for Christ.
    In 1996, Senior Pastor Frank Damazio and Pastor Ed Schefter set out to develop an outreach that would win souls by activating the local church. As a result, Eternity was built to be a relevant and hard hitting ninety-minute stage presentation to preach the gospel of Christ.

    The ministry has successfully partnered with local churches to reach
    the lost and initiate the process of discipleship. By the grace of God, we saw
    hundreds won to Christ including many who now are contributing members
    of the church. We began to receive requests from across the nation to help
    local churches reach the lost of their communities.
  • THE CORD OF THREE
    When Outreach Directors are talking with pastors about “Eternity,” one of the ways they describe the production is that of “a three-fold-cord.” Not only is there the production aspect of putting on an “Eternity,” but equally important are prayer and follow-up.

    PRODUCTION
    The production aspect of Eternity includes the travel, the set decorating, the preparation, ticket distribution, and casting. However, we feel very strongly that without the other two components, “Eternity” will not be successful.

    PRAYER
    Prayer is the number one key to success and we as a team are committed to Prayer and Intercession for revival and spiritual awakening in our nation. We are committed to Intercession for souls being saved through this presentation of the Gospel. We encourage each church to set up an "Engine Room" within the church as a hub for prayer and intercession. It's a place for the intercessors, cast and crew to come together and seek the Lord and prepare to reach the harvest. A place to cover every aspect of the production in prayer.

    FOLLOW-UP
    One of the most neglected and yet most important elements of Evangelistic outreach is the follow up with new converts. The assimilation of the new convert to become a healthy church member is crucial. We encourage churches that get involved with Eternity to put no less than 1/3 of the total effort into the assimilation of new converts. Our prayers are that the harvest at each church will be plentiful and that the retention of new converts will be exceedingly, abundantly beyond our expectations.
